Adobe Changelog:
APE has been discontinued & replaced with dnssd.dll, a DNS Network Discovery Protocol by Bonjour.
dnssd.dll causes conflicts with large HOSTS file: similar to enabling DNS Service with a large HOSTS file.
Symptoms: sluggish PC Performance, constant CPU throttling rendering Photoshop useless.
Remedy: i've added an additional entry BackupHOSTS=, which will handle backing up the HOSTS file to prevent this conflict.
